Monthly Meetings
We have informal meetings at the pavilion on the first Thursday of every month at 7.30pm.
Public Running Days
Our running days (subject to the availability of members & the weather) are every Saturday & Bank Holidays from Easter to October from 1.30pm to 4.00pm.
Open Days
10:30am to 4:30pm
We invite clubs and societies from further afield to visit us, and the following dates in 2010 have been reserved. Please remember to bring your boiler test certificate if you are bringing a steam locomotive.

Easter "Bunny Hunt"
- Saturday April 3rd, Monday April 5th, Lightburn Park 2:00pm to 4:30pm
Portable Track
In addition to normal running in the park we have regular portable track events for galas and festivals. The following dates are firm bookings:-
- Saturday June 12th, Grange Edwardian Festival, Park Road Gardens.
- Sunday June 20th, St. Mary' Hospice (Leven Valley Support Group) at Haverthwaite playing field.
- Saturday July 24th, Sunday July 25th, Windermere Air Show.
- Saturday September 4th, Sunday September 5th, Millom Model Railway Exhibition.
- November 27th, November 28th, Ulverston Dickensian Festival.
Thursday December 2nd
Annual General Meeting (AGM), 7:30pm, Pavilion, Lightburn Park.
